Picture of Baracke X (Barrack X) taken in May, 1997

Baracke X (Barrack X in English) is the new crematorium building built in 1942. One room houses the two double crematory ovens used for cremating the bodies of the dead prisoners. Other rooms were used as a mortuary and for disinfecting clothing. Also in this building is the gas chamber, disguised as a shower room.
