Catholic Memorial, called Todesangst Christi Kapelle (Christ in Agony) built in 1960

Notice the modern art at the top of the Memorial. This type of sculpture is seen frequently in post-war Germany on the rebuilt churches which were destroyed by Allied bombing. In this view of the Catholic Memorial, you can see the iron gate in front and the alter, barely visible inside the building. A cobblestone path leads up to the Memorial.
